When making an application to the Court, a Court fee must be paid, otherwise the application will not be processed by the Family Court. If you are in receipt of benefits and or a low income you may be able to apply for a Court fee exemption in certain matters.
The below costs will be in force from April 2024 and are intended to help the court to continue delivering its services efficiently and effectively.
The Court fees are now as follows:
· Divorce Petition – £593.00
· Consent Order – £58.00
· Financial Remedy Proceedings – £303.00
· Children Act Application – £255.00
· Enforcement Children Act – £255.00
· Any other application – £184.00
The Court will not process any application without the above Court fee being paid or successfully applying for a Court Fee exemption.
