Anstey Swifts Girls Under 14’s are pleased to report that they have reached a joint third place. It has been a really competitive season with some fantastic games played, putting in some very strong performances against the 2 teams placed above us. Winning 5-1 in the penultimate game over the Champions and a resounding 8-0 victory when we played Leicester Ladies away in the previous month, who later finished in second place.
All the girls have finished strong in the later part of the season with a fabulous commitment to the training and a desire to kick start the 2022/2023 season in the same energetic way.
All team members would again express that they are very grateful to Dodds Solicitors for the sponsorship which enabled them to have new full kits and waterproof jackets (that were much appreciated on the many rainy Sunday mornings!!)
